Attention all Students: This Saturday is our next Student Government event! We will be having our "Movie on the Field", watching The Blindside. The event starts at 7:30, and tickets can be purchased for $5 before school, during lunch, or after school, or $7 at the door on Saturday. Concessions will also be available at the event. Bring your Student Activities punch card so you can earn your way to prizes!

Student Government: Student government meets today after school with your class moderator. All students are welcome to get involved! Freshmen meet with Mr. Brechtel in Room 208, Sophomores with Mrs. Comella in Room 107, Juniors with Ms. K in Art 1, and Seniors with Ms. Medina in Room 109.

College Visit LaSalle University: LaSalle University will be here during 6th and 8th lunch periods with an information table this Thursday September 12. LaSalle University offers undergraduate degrees in Business, Education, Nursing, and Liberal Arts. Athletically, LaSalle University participates in the NCAA Division-1 Atlantic 10 Conference. They also offer comprehensive programs for service, internships, and study abroad as well as educational learning trips. Please stop by to see LaSalle University during lunch on Thursday.

Calling all Creatives!: Montini's Literary Magazine Club will be hosting an ice cream social to kick off our first meeting of the year next Tuesday from 2:45-3:15 in room 106. Anyone interested in being part of the Musings staff this year should attend. See Mrs. Valley for details.

Varsity Soccer lost a heartbreaker Tuesday night 2-1 to Fenwick. Josh Ogorji headed in the rebound after Josh Gonzaga rattled the crossbar. The Broncos pinged the post and crossbar again later in the game but were unable to find the net. The boys will try to bounce back at Glenbard East on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.

In Volleyball news: in the last 5 matches, your Lady Broncos are 3-2 with wins over LT, Normal West and Romeoville and 2 tough 3-set kisses to York and St. Francis. Your Lady Broncos were led by Paige Pickering with 48 Kills and Julia Marciniak with 24 kills. Tess Noonan dished out 72 assists and Reeghan Boyer had 52 digs. Plus, a huge contribution by senior Enya O'Flaherty! Next up is the Lady Broncos first home match tomorrow against rival school Nazareth Academy at 5:30pm, we need a huge crowd for this match. Montini Maniacs are coming around to talk about the theme! Go Broncos!
