As part of their newest Christmas tradition, the Twelve Days of Holiday Hopes, students at Montini Catholic participated in the Campus Ministry sponsored Homeroom Christmas Decorating Contest. Walls and ceilings were decked and donned by Broncos all in the hopes of winning the newly coveted title of Best Decorated Homeroom. Judges toured the homerooms during the week of December 10th, tabulated the scores and announced the winners on Thursday, December 13th. "Many rooms were so creative that the judges decided to give out three awards this year," said Theology Teacher, Katie Wall who was instrumental in getting the students and teachers inspired to participate in what quickly became a fierce competition. "We gave out a Department Award (won this year by the Math Department), as well as a Most Spirited Homeroom Award and a Best Decorated Homeroom Award!" Ms. Wall and Campus Minister, Michael Blanchette, delivered the awards on Friday to the winning homerooms. "We hope that this year students were inspired to get even more creative with their decorating next year," said Ms. Wall, who hopes to keep this newest Bronco tradition alive and thriving year to year.
