Students Spread Holiday Cheer at Annual Christmas Concert

Montini Catholic's auditorium was flowing with holiday spirit on Tuesday, December 11th when choir and band students performed at their much anticipated annual Christmas Concert.

Despite a quick guest appearance by 'The Grinch' the musical show went off without a hitch and entertained friends and families with a medley of holiday tunes including 'Santa Clause is Comin' to Town,' 'Winter Wonderland' and 'White Christmas,' to name a few. One of many highlights of the evening was a performance of 'I Pray on Christmas' a carol written by Harry Connick, Jr. Solos by Varsity Singers, James Musil, Ikenna Nkuku, Andrews Kaspari and Jack Karl received a rousing applause and had the audience joining in the fun by clapping along with the group. The combined bands performance of 'Crazy Mixed-Up Christmas Concert' also had the audience in an uproar.

Attendees enjoyed festive performances by the Freshman Choir, Concert Choir, Varsity Singers, Chamber Choir, TrebleMakers, ACafellas, Symphonic and Concert Bands in a show that was directed by the Montini Catholic Music Department, Belford Hernandez and Matthew Loeb.

Montini Catholic prides itself on its music program which fosters teamwork, leadership, performance, stage presence, and collaboration among students in music ensembles and in music courses.
