Join Us for a Glass of Gratitude
Montini Catholic will host its 3rd Annual "Gratitude In A Glass" Wine Gala on November 13th, 2009 at Pazzo's 311 in Chicago, beginning at 7:00 pm. The event's proceeds go toward the Endowment Fund, which enhances faculty benefits/compensation and financial aid offerings for student families who apply for consideration. You will enjoy a night full of several wine tasting stations that compliment adjacent food stations, a silent auction with a wine theme, and musical entertainment. We will be honoring faculty members Nancy Mack, who is celebrating her 40th Anniversary at Montini, as well as Kathy Filipiak and Jim Izzo, who are celebrating their 35th Anniversary at Montini Catholic. All reservations should be in by Friday, November 6th. National Honor Society Inducts New Members
The National Honor Society (NHS) of Montini Catholic High School has just inducted 51 new student members. These students were honored at Montini's Annual "NHS Induction Ceremony" for the 2009-2010 school year. The newest members were inducted by the school's Principal (Maryann O'Neill) and President (Jim Segredo), along with the NHS Moderators (Teachers: Mr. Marcous and Mrs. Formanski). The Red Carpet Has Been Rolled Up...
The sparkle and glitz of Homecoming 2009: Hollywood Glamour has been put away for another time. However, the week was full of costumes, spirit and fun. The seniors again defeated the entire school in the pep rally contests with a record setting pyramid time. The Varsity football team fought hard but fell short to Marian Central Catholic, and Langan Jenkins was crowned Queen in the rainstorm. With everything looking down, the Broncos still had an amazing week and a great dance to top it off!

Our Doors are Open...
Do you know of a 7th or 8th grader that would like to see what Montini Catholic has to offer? We are holding our first Open house on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 7 PM. All interested students and their families are invited to tour around campus, hear about our classes and see what clubs and sports we have available. Did You Run the Chicago Marathon last weekend?
Are you planning on running the Boston Marathon in April? Congratulations on your hard work and your great job during the race. We have found many alums participated in the marathon on Sunday - if you did, or know an alum that did, please send us their name and their finish time to alumni@montini.org.
