Br. Christopher Kavanaugh, FSC Scholarship
Br. Chris was a principal, student activities director, teacher and friend, who lost his battle with cancer in 2007. Since that time, we have received a total of $7500 in his name for a memorial scholarship. This $1000 scholarship will be given to a student that is active in the fine arts and demonstrates financial need annually. Help us make this scholarship possible. Donate now to honor Br. Chris.

Reps Needed for Upcoming Events

Are you from the class of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995 or 2000? We are looking to start planning your reunions this fall, but we need help! Reps attend a few meetings, plan their reunions and get in contact with classmates.

Are you a golfer? Did you enjoy the Bronco Classic last year? Do you have ideas for contests or prizes? Come help us make this year even better by joining our committee. Sponsorships, auction donations and foursome solicitations are our areas that we work in.

Seniors Named Scholars by State
This year, 26 Montini Catholic High School seniors have been named State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) for the 2009-2010 school year. The State Scholar program recognizes Illinois high school students for outstanding academic achievement and calls them the "best and the brightest" of the Class of 2010. Senior Signs Collegiate Letter-of-Intent
Montini Catholic High School senior, Martin Dwar, signed his Letter-of-Intent to play baseball at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Martin is an honor student from Clarendon Hills. When he is not playing baseball, Martin is a Student Ambassador for Montini Catholic High School. Martin also received an academic scholarship to Elmhurst College, making his total scholarship earnings to college over $84,000 in value.

Scoreboard Advertising Spots Open
Would you like to support the Broncos while marketing your company? The football, baseball and softball scoreboards will have advertising spots open soon. A spot on all three scoreboards for a three year period will cost between $1200 and $3600. Alum Celebrates 10th Year as Montini Faculty Member
Congratulations to Technology Director and Teacher, Peter Farina '87, for ten years of dedication and service to Montini! After graduating from Montini, Peter went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Loyola University and is now Network + Certified. He designed Montini Catholic's first website in 1999 as a freelancer and then was hired as a full-time Technology Director and later a Computer Teacher. Peter has had over 14 years in Network Administration, with 5 years of experience in commercial photography and digital design and 5 years of experience in network administration and web development. He stays involved with the students outside of the classroom by moderating both the Computer Club and the Film Club.
