710 Broncos started the year strong on Monday with their uniforms on, lockers decorated, books ready and friends around them. We wish you good luck on your first days and the whole year!

20th Annual Bronco Classic Golf Outing A Huge Success!
Thank you to all of the alumni, past parents, current parents, friends and family that attended the Golf Outing on August 14th. The event was SOLD OUT with over 300 golfers playing! The outing consisted of 18 holes with a cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner, raffles, contests on the course and a silent auction at St. Andrew's in West Chicago. Save the Date for next year's outing on Friday, August 13, 2010!

Montini Juniors Using Their Brains
Montini Catholic High School students have yet again exceeded the national and state ACT score average, with an entire school average of 23. The top 25% of the Class of 2010, scored an overall average of 29, exceeding the state average (20.7) by 8 full points and the national average (21.1) by nearly 8 points! However, the students' success does not end there. Montini Catholic High School had 13 students score over 29 points, one of whom scored a perfect 36! This makes the top 10% of the Class of 2010 average test score 31!

Broncos Start Fall Seasons
The Broncos are ready to start their seasons against their new competitors in the Suburban Christian Conference! Girls volleyball, girls tennis, boys soccer, girls swimming, boys golf and cross country have all been practicing for a week now to gear up. Broncos Help Bikers "Lose Their Training Wheels"
During the first week in August, Montini Catholic High School in Lombard hosted Easter Seals' Lose the Training Wheels Program. This program helps children and young adults, ages 8 and up with disabilities, learn how to ride a bike without training wheels. Using Easter Seals' specialized equipment, adult and Montini student volunteers helped teach the bikers how to balance, steer, pedal, and have fun while interacting with other children at this camp. "It's really great to watch how excited and proud the kids are to ride a bike. This camp is really great for their confidence and self-esteem," said David Pankiewicz '10.

Bronco Wrestlers Named All-Americans

This summer, two Montini Catholic High School Bronco Wrestlers earned All-American honors at the prestigious 2009 Junior National Wrestling Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota. Sophomore, Kevon Powell, finished fourth in the nation in both freestyle and Greco Roman. Senior, Colton Rasche, finished sixth in the nation in freestyle. Montini was one of only two schools in Illinois that had multiple All-Americans at this prestigious National Tournament.
